Johnson and Hysell

Cheri Ann Johnson and Bradley Charles Hysell were married Oct. 20, 2007, at Harvest Ridge Covenant Church in Shawnee. Rev. Robert F. Johnson conducted the ceremony, and a reception followed in Olathe.
The bride is the daughter of Robert & Kathryn Johnson of Lake Ozark, Mo. The groom is the son of Richard and Mary Hysell of Lyons, Kan.
Tammy Barber was the matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Carin Allen and Marie Cardona. The best man was Jason Saphara, and Chuck Smith and Aaron Dome were groomsmen.
Ushers were Bryan Johnson and Patrick Monroe. Paiton Johnson was the flower girl, and Tyler Johnson was the ring bearer.
The bride grew up in Sterling, Kan., and graduated from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, Calif. She now works for the International Institute for Christian Studies. The groom grew up in Lyons and graduated from Colorado State University-Pueblo. He now works for MJ Harden.

Absolutely. We wouldn’t be able to sit here and eat lunch like this if it weren’t for the veterans. We’ve got millions of people that fought and died to save this country; it should be more than a bank holiday.
