Jeanette Johnson and Mike Gordon were married Jan. 19, 2008, in New Port Richey, Fla. Capt. Ernie Pollock performed the ceremony.
Carrie Sixkiller-Jones was matron of honor and Ron Jones was best man.
The bride works in the personnel division of the Johnson County Sheriff's Office.
The groom is a recently retired Shawnee firefighter with 16 years of service. He is also a former professional offshore powerboat champion.
The couple plan a reception in Shawnee this month.
