Stephens and Blevins
Rebecca Lynn Stephens and Ryan William Blevins, both of Ponca City, Okla., announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Elizabeth Gharst and Michael Stephens, Kansas City, Kan. She is a 2003 graduate of Bonner Springs High School and graduated magna cum laude in 2007 from Emporia State University. She is a second-grade teacher at Lincoln Elementary School in Ponca City.
The prospective groom is the son of Robert and Cindy Blevins, Bartlesville, Okla. He graduated from Arkansas City (Kan.) High School in 2002 and from Emporia State University in 2007. He is fitness, health and community coordinator with ConocoPhillips Co.
The couple plan a July 19 wedding in at the Marland Estate Mansion in Ponca City.

“I almost never go there at all — only with my wife, Kim. She checks out, I’d say, at least three books a week. The kids go with her, and she teaches them how to find things.”
