Lewis and Crozier

Sara Lewis and Michael Crozier, both of Shawnee, announce their engagement and upcoming nuptials.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Joan Lewis, Bonner Springs. She is a 1998 graduate of De Soto High School and is employed as an administrative assistant with Cookbook Publishers.
The prospective groom is the son of Betty Mitchem, Humansville, Mo. He is a 1991 graduate of Shawnee Mission Northwest High School and is a warehouse technician with Grundfos Pump Co.
The couple plan a June 14, 2008, wedding in Overland Park.

Engagement

Barron and Hood

Briana Barron and Steve Hood announce their engagement.
The future bride is the daughter of Donita Anderson and Steve Barron of Basehor and Piper, respectively. She is a 2002 graduate of Basehor-Linwood High School and will graduate from Kansas University with a Master of Science degree in organic chemistry.
The prospective groom is the son of Roger and Marjorie Hood of Topeka. He is a 2001 graduate of Cair Paravel-Latin School and a 2006 graduate of KU with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy.
The couple is planning a private wedding and will celebrate with family and friends on May 23 at the Great Overland Station in Topeka. They will be residing in Milwaukee, where Briana will pursue a law degree at Marquette University. Steve also will continue his education with plans of master's and doctoral degrees.

Gandy and Moodie

Nicole Jayne Gandy, Shawnee, and Patrick Griffin Moodie, Overland Park, announce their engagement and upcoming nuptials.
The prospective bride is the daughter of Mark and Kathy Gandy, Shawnee. She is a 1999 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in 2003 from Truman State University and a master's degree in 2006 from Baylor University. Nicole is currently a graduate assistant pursuing a Ph.D. at Kansas University.
The prospective groom is the son of Jack and Chloe Moodie, Pittsburg, Kan. He is a 2001 graduate of St. Mary's Colgan High School, Pittsburg. He earned his bachelor's degree in 2005 and a master's degree in 2007, both from KU. He is an orthopedic research associate at KU Medical Center.
The couple plan a June 28, 2008, wedding at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Lawrence, Kan.
