Chaffee and Davis

Jennifer Chaffee and Michael Davis were married Oct. 11, 2008, in Overland Park with the Rev. Michael Peck officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Paul and Marsha Chafee, Shawnee. The groom is the son of Ray and Susan Davis, Manhattan.
Ashley Rosche was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Erin Waage, Stephanie Biggs, April Cremer and Kate Raglow.
Best man was Ryan Davis. Groomsmen were Donny Mayfield, Brandon Amtower, Jerrod Mason and Dustin Hamilton. Ryan Rosche, Jarett Foster, Parker Isaacson, Josh Johnson and Guy Byars served as ushers.
The couple was honored after the wedding with a reception at Lake Quivira Country Club.
The bride, a graduate of Kansas State University, is a biology teacher with Shawnee Mission USD 512 and the groom, who also graduated from Kansas State, is an insurance consultant with United Surfaces Benefit Association.
After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple are at home in Overland Park but plan a move to Shawnee.

Do you think the state should do more to help businesses near K-7 and Johnson Drive as an interchange is constructed?

Given the time the state has had to prepare, I don’t think completing the access road before starting/ closing Johnson Drive is an unreasonable request from these businesses or those of us who patronize them.
