Edith Sledd, 80, Merriam, died Monday, May 17, 2004, at Shawnee Gardens. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee, with burial to follow at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel.
She was born Jan. 14, 1924, in Hoxie, Kan.
Mrs. Sledd retired from the Sunshine Biscuit Co. in 1987. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Sledd, and a son, Ronald Sledd.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Moore (Cecilia), Shawnee; and Lee Moore, Salem, Ore.; two brothers, Willard Morgan, Menlo, Kan.; and Arthur Morgan (Mary), Hoisington, Kan.; and four grandchildren. Arrangements by the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee 913-631-5566.
