The Mill Valley High School softball team opened Kaw Valley League play with a split at Basehor-Linwood on Tuesday night. The Lady Jags won Game 1, 7-5, and fell in the nightcap, 6-5. The doubleheader featured the KVL’s top two teams and was a preview of just how tight the race for the league title will likely be.
