Obituary: Lucille M. Siddens
Lucille M. Siddens, 87, Tonganoxie, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, at St. John Hospital in Leavenworth. Graveside services were Tuesday at Grandview Cemetery, Riley, Kan. Visitation was Monday at the Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie.
Mrs. Siddens was born June 5, 1918, in Leonardville, Kan., the daughter of Charles and Cora (Busher) Scott. She worked as a cook for Champion's IGA in Tonganoxie and was a babysitter. On Nov. 7, 1936, she married George Siddens in Salina. She was a member of the Tonganoxie United Methodist Church and the Tonganoxie Rebeccas lodge.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one stepdaughter, Betty Richter. She is survived by three daughters, Norma Moore, Lansing; Susanne Heien, Houston, Texas; and Vicky Burk, Lawrence; a brother, Charles Scott Jr., Oldsburg, Kan.; two sisters, Pauline VanDerbur, Council Grove; and Lois Borg, Manhattan; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
