Shawnee

Jacqueline Buntemeyer, 64, Shawnee, died April 21, 2007, peacefully in her home after a valiant battle with cancer.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Shawnee Mission Parkway at Nall, with burial at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m., prior to the service.

She was born to Athol "Don" and Louise Davis on August 12, 1942, in Kansas City, Mo. She attended Cardinal Glennon High School and Kansas City Business College. She was a long-time employee of Security Savings Bank in Olathe. Whe was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She married Doyle Buntemeyer on May 26, 1961. He died in 1977.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Rowland; a son, Keith Buntemeyer; her six grandchildren, Cheri Rowland, Shawn Rowland, Tiffany Buntemeyer, Doyle Buntemeyer, Michael Buntemeyer and Anna Buntemeyer; and her sisters, and Mary Gulick and Donna Kamler.

The family suggests contributions be made to "Jackie Buntemeyer Memorial Fund" c/o Security Savings Bank, 11599 Ridgeview Road, Olathe, Kansas 66061.
