Shawnee

LeRoy J. Schnittker, 69, of Shawnee, died Friday, April 20, 2007, at his home.

Mr. Schnittker was born Feb. 26, 1938, in Nashville, Kan.

Survivors include his companion, Kala Musick, of the home; six sisters, Leona Hipp and Emelia Spade of Wichita; Florence Dean of Houston, Texas; Victoria Smith and Merietta Brabec of California, Evelyn Schafer of Manhattan, Kan.; and a brother, Elmer Schnittker of Chillicothe, Mo.

Private memorial services will be held. The family requests donations to LeRoy Schnittker Biology Scholarship fund Emporia State University 1500 Highland Emporia, KS, 66801.
