Obituary: Carl H. Anthony
1919-2007
Shawnee
Carl H. Anthony, 87, of Shawnee, died Sunday, March 11, 2007, at his home. Services were Friday at The Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Visitation was prior to the service. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Disabled Veterans.
He was born on May 10, 1919, to Edward and Anna Anthony in Westphalia, Kan. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a technician. After being discharged from the Army, he began his career as a flight simulator technician for Trans World Airlines. On June 16, 1951, he married Ruth J. Gorman. He was a member of the American Legion Post 327.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth, of the home and a sister, Helen Danner. Online condolences may be shared at www.amosfamily.com.
