Obituary: Pernie Osipik
1922-2007
Shawnee
Pernie Osipik, 84, of Shawnee died Sunday, March 11, 2007, at her home. Services were Thursday, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation was Wednesday at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, 3846 W. 75th St., Prairie Village KS 66208.
Mrs. Osipik was born May 16, 1922, in Kansas City, Kan., and was a graduate of Argentine High School. She was a Baptist. She worked as an Avon representative and received several sales awards.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Alec Osipik, of the home; a son, Danny Adams, Shawnee; three daughters, Jenny Haynes, Shawnee; Dr. Marilyn Burson, Anniston, Ala.; and Judy Holmes, Middleboro, Mass.; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
