Chili Run scheduled
December 3, 2008
The annual Mid-America Running Association Chili Run has been scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at Wyandotte County Lake. For more information or to register, go to mararunning.org. In addition, the Kansas City Trail Nerds will offer an alternate Chili Run at 8 a.m. on Dec. 13 at the same location. This will be a trail run. For more information, go to psychowyco.com.

Do you think it is important for Shawnee to be bicycle-friendly?

I think it’s important. I do love and use the paths, but it would be nice to have lanes so we could use bikes to run errands - saving gas!
