The Kansas Volleyball Association has released its rankings for Week Three of the 2008 season.
CLASS 6A
1. Washburn Rural (8-1)
2. Blue Valley West (7-3)
3. Manhattan (10-1)
4. Goddard (14-1)
5. Lawrence Free State (10-2)
Receiving votes: Derby (11-5), Shawnee Mission West (9-4).
CLASS 5A
1. Bishop Miege (9-2)
2. St. Thomas Aquinas (12-3)
3. Topeka Seaman (9-1)
4. Shawnee Heights (7-2)
5. Lansing (16-2)
Receiving votes: Newton (12-4), Salina South (9-3), Valley Center (12-4).
CLASS 4A
1. St. James Academy (18-1)
2. Topeka Hayden (14-3)
3. Clearwater (10-0)
4. Jefferson West (13-0)
5. Concordia (14-4)
Receiving votes: Girard (12-2), Paola (11-3), Ottawa (11-2).

Absolutely. We wouldn’t be able to sit here and eat lunch like this if it weren’t for the veterans. We’ve got millions of people that fought and died to save this country; it should be more than a bank holiday.
