VFW schedules chili feed

Shawnee Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10552 will have its 12th annual all-you-can-eat chili bowl Feb. 12 in the Knights of Columbus Hall, 11221 Johnson Drive.
Tickets are $6 and doors open at 5 p.m., with serving continuing until 7 p.m. For more information, contact Richard Soetaert, 220-4926.
Veteran assistance conducted by the Shawnee VFW Post includes primarily residents of the Leavenworth Veterans home, and contributions to the veterans orphan’s home in Michigan. The Shawnee Knights supported this fund-raising charitable event by contributing use of its hall.
