JCCC has spring enrollment record
Johnson County Community College’s spring 2009 semester enrollment is at a record 18,086.
The totals, announced in mid-February, are up 1.8 percent from the spring 2008 total of 17,760. The number of credit hours those students are enrolled in is 146,530, an increase of 2.7 percent over the spring 2008 total of 142,663. These are the highest totals JCCC has ever recorded for the spring semester.
“People come back to school in tough economic times,” said Terry Calaway, JCCC president. “We can help them prepare for new jobs and new careers.”
