SMNW teacher selected for NASA project

Shawnee Mission Northwest science teacher Susan Hallstrom wants to make sure students are reaching for the stars.
Hallstrom was recently selected for the NASA Endeavor Science Teaching Certificate Project.
The project is to ensure that teachers across the country can use the discoveries that NASA makes on a daily basis to inspire students.
Hallstrom was one of 40 applicants accepted into the program.

Do you think the state should do more to help businesses near K-7 and Johnson Drive as an interchange is constructed?
Given the time the state has had to prepare, I don’t think completing the access road before starting/ closing Johnson Drive is an unreasonable request from these businesses or those of us who patronize them.
