West boys nip SMNW

The Shawnee Mission North boys suffered a major Sunflower League setback Tuesday when they lost, 41-37, to Shawnee Mission West.
The game was close throughout, and West led 31-30 entering the fourth quarter.
Steve Carver led Northwest with 19 points and A.J. Spencer added 10.
SMNW next plays at 7 p.m. Friday at Olathe East.

Do you think it is important for Shawnee to be bicycle-friendly?
I think it’s important. I do love and use the paths, but it would be nice to have lanes so we could use bikes to run errands - saving gas!
