SMSD to hold community budget meetings

The Shawnee Mission School District has scheduled a series of community meeting regarding the district's budget.
Five meetings have been scheduled to provide information about legislative issues and and potential budget reductions. .
The meetings will also seek to gain input form patrons regarding budgetary and legislative issues.
The board of education members, district superintendent and district administrators will present information and facilitate each session.
Meetings are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and last until 8:15 p.m.
Feb. 16 Shawnee Mission East, 7500 Mission Road.
Feb. 17 Westridge Middle School, 9300 Nieman Road.
Feb. 18 Indian Woods Middle School, 9700 Woodson.
Feb. 23 Shawnee Mission North, 7401 Johnson Drive.
Feb. 24 Shawnee Mission Northwest, 12701 West 67th Street.
