SMNW Homecoming Queen a state finalist

Shawnee Mission Northwest senior Madison Parsons was selected as a finalist for Kansas' 2010 Homecoming Queen Selection.
The senior will compete with other finalists on March 27 and 28 at the Kansas City Airport Marriott.
The winner of Kansas’ 30th Annual Homecoming Queen Selection will receive a cash scholarship and an expense paid trip to the National Finals in California to compete for America’s Homecoming Queen.
America’s Homecoming Queen, Inc., is a non-profit organization promoting education, educational travel, and community service for high school homecoming queens in all 50 states.

Do you think it is important for Shawnee to be bicycle-friendly?
I think it’s important. I do love and use the paths, but it would be nice to have lanes so we could use bikes to run errands - saving gas!
