Registration open for annual dodgeball tournament

Registration is now open for Perceptive Software’s fifth annual Dodge for a Cause charity dodgeball tournament, benefiting the Kansas City chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
The tournament will take place April 10-11 and 17-18 at the company’s Shawnee headquarters, 22701 W. 68th Terrace, and teams can register online at dodgeforacause.com.
Team registration is just $250, with all proceeds benefiting JDRF. The tournament champion will earn an automatic bid into the 2010 National Amateur Dodgeball Association (NADA) Outdoor National Tournament in suburban Chicago, including free roundtrip airfare and $1,000 for the trip. Dodge for A Cause games take place on Perceptive's NADA-approved dodgeball court.
Individuals 18 years and older are eligible to participate. Each team is guaranteed three matches or a minimum of six games during first-round play. Team prizes will be awarded for Best Team Uniforms, Best Team Spirit, Best Team Name, Best Team Theme Song and Worst Team Hair.
