Wizards release two goalkeepers

The Kansas City Wizards on Wednesday announced that goalkeepers Louis Crayton and Boris Pardo were trimmed from the team's preseason roster.
Pardo joined the club in 2008 and appeared in two games for the team, including an appearance in last year's U.S. Open Cup opening round game against the Minnesota Thunder. Pardo stopped two penalty kicks in the game en route to a shootout victory.
Crayton joined the Wizards as a trialist at the start of the 2010 preseason. Prior to arriving in KC, the Liberian international goalkeeper spent time with D.C. United and FC Basel of Switzerland.
