Q. When did you move to Shawnee, and what brought you here?

A. We moved to Shawnee from Texas in June, 2002. American Airlines transferred my husband to KCI.

Q. What did you want to be when you grew up?

A. I wanted to be a June Taylor Dancer, from the Jackie Gleason Show.

Q. What's the biggest risk you've ever taken?

A. I'm not much of a risk taker now, so I'd have to say, sky diving when I was younger.

Q. What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

A. My Mom always said, "rise above it!"

Q. What three things would you want people to know about you?

A. I'm one of 7 kids, I grew up in Kalamazoo, MI (President Obama is speaking at my old high school this year), and baking is my de-stressor.

Q. What's your ideal vacation spot?

A. La Paz, Mexico or any warm, sunny beach.

Color: K-State purple, now that my daughter goes there.

Food: Cake from the Boonzaayer Bakery in Kalamazoo, MI
