Commission OKs plans for Chipotle and trampoline facility at SMP and Quivira
A new Chipotle has plans to move into Shawnee.
The Shawnee Planning Commission on Monday approved a site plan to construct a standalone restaurant — with a patio — at 11805 Shawnee Mission Parkway, in the Shawnee Village shopping center between McDonald’s and Fazoli’s.
The Commission also approved a special use permit to allow Sky Zone, an indoor trampoline facility, in the north half of the old Hy-Vee store at 6495 Quivira Road, next to Nellie and Nicos antique mall.
Plans call for one toddler field and as many as three fields for open play and activities such as trampoline dodgeball, aerobics and basketball, according to a staff report.
