Financial services business plans grand opening

Keith Winterhalter has opened an Edward Jones financial services office in downtown Shawnee.
A grand opening celebration and ribbon-cutting for the business will be at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 10 at the new office, 5725 Nieman Road, Suite D.
“I am excited to be opening an Edward Jones office in Shawnee, because I really see a need for the type of service we provide,” Winterhalter said in an announcement. “This firm concerns itself exclusively with the needs of individual investors and small-business owners, and I’m happy to be bringing that kind of personalized service to this community.”
Winterhalter, a former Shawnee resident, lives in Lenexa. His business opened in November.
Edward Jones provides financial services for individual investors in the United States and, through its affiliate, in Canada. The firm caters to individual investors in the communities in which they live and work. The firm has 12,000-plus financial advisers who work directly with clients to understand personal goals and create long-term investment solutions.
