New antiques store opens in Shawnee

Looking for something whimsical and special for your home? Nellie & Nico’s Unique Finds opened Feb. 3 at 6495 Quivira Road in Shawnee. The new store features 39,000 square feet of antiques, collectibles, refurbished furniture, gifts and décor.
“It’s new chic and old school all wrapped up in one huge store,” owner Janelle Coons said in a news release. “We feature over 100 vendors, each with their own unique sense of style. Some of our furniture pieces have great bone structure but need a little TLC to bring them back to life. Others have been completely refurbished and are ready to grace your home.”
