Seminar to help those grieving for loved ones

Amos Family Funeral Home is offering a free seminar to provide people who have lost loved ones this year, or in the past, with information about the grieving process and ideas for getting through the holidays.

“Handling the Holidays” is set for 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 5 at the funeral home, 10901 Johnson Drive. Darcie D. Sims, president of Grief Inc., developed and will present the program. Sims is a grief management counselor and author and has been presenting programs on grief issues more than 20 years.
