SMNW girls fall to Olathe South in opening round at state

The sixth-seeded Shawnee Mission Northwest High girls held a five-point lead against No. 3 Olathe South High with four minutes remaining. That lead disappeared in 20 seconds after three-straight turnovers, two on inbound plays, and the score was tied. Olathe South went on a 8-0 run to take a three-point lead it would never give up in a 59-57 win against SMNW.
