Mill Valley girls take down Topeka Seaman
The Mill Valley girls soccer team kept its momentum going on Monday evening with a convincing 6-0 victory over visiting Topeka Seaman.
Haley Freeman and Cori Carver each scored two goals, and Kacie Kinley and Emily Munyer scored one apiece. Kinley recorded two assists, and Kennedy Hoffman and Emma Wetzel each got one as well.
Goalkeeper Bailey Heffernon saved both shots on goal against her to record the shutout. The Lady Jaguars are now 6-1 this season and will take on Lansing in Kaw Valley League play at 6 p.m. tonight at home.
