Shawnee student earns prestigious scholarship
Jacob Jennings, of Shawnee recently was awarded the President’s Scholarship at Concordia University in Nebraska.
The scholarship is the highest financial honor available for the 2016-17 school year.
It acknowledges freshmen with excellent academic performance, combined with extracurricular involvement and high test score achievements.
To retain this scholarship, students must hold a GPA of 3.5 or higher throughout four years of their college career. By meeting the requirements of the scholarship, each student will receive $18,000 per academic year, for total scholarship support of $72,000.
