Shawnee-area students among awardees in art competition
Several Shawnee students were recognized with awards at the Shawnee Mission Area Council PTA’s Reflections Art contest, and their works were displayed at an open house event Jan. 27 at Shawnee Mission West High School.
The contest recognizes kindergarten through 12th grade students at the local, state and national levels for their artistic abilities in six categories: visual arts, photography, literature, music, film/video and dance/choreography.
