Shawnee students named to Emporia State’s Spring 2016 honor list
Many Shawnee residents were among the students named to Emporia State University's honor roll and dean's lists for spring 2016.
To qualify for the semester honor roll, students must earn a minimum 3.8 semester grade point average in at least 12 graded hours. Shawnee students on the honor roll were: Sarah Clark, Mariah Kalma, Katelyn McCarthy, Natalie Morris, Catherine Riddle, Eli Stewart, Kati Strickland, and Regan Wright.
Some students were listed to both the honor roll and a dean's list. Students who qualified for the dean's list earned a semester grade point average that puts them in the top 10 percent of all students enrolled.
Shawnee students included on the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences dean's list and also listed on the honor roll were: Jessica Clark, Shelby Keyes, Selena Martinez, Alison Nielsen, Aaliyah Shawger and Michael Webb.
Tatum Graves of Shawnee was listed to both the honor roll and the School of Business dean's list.
The following Shawnee students were listed to both the honor roll and Teachers College dean's list: Stevie Born, Allyson Byard, Emanuel Contreras, Rachal Davidson, Scarlett Gerow, Valarie Hawkins, Lindsay Mason, Katelyn McCarthy, Taylor Oakman, Amie Pendergast and Emily Perry, Lauren Shurley, and Angela Walter.
