Historical hauntings on tap at Shawnee Town
Shawnee Town’s Historical Hauntings event will be a real scream for Halloween fans.
It will take place from 6-8:30 p.m. on Saturday at the grounds of Shawnee Town, 11501 W. 57th St. The campus is three blocks west of Nieman Road.
All activities are free, with a $1 suggested donation to benefit Shawnee Town 1929. It is open to the public.
The Optimist Club of Shawnee-Mission will be selling snacks at the “Ghoul Café” and there will be trick-or-treating, tractor drawn hayrides, Farmstead tours, an eyeball candy counting contest, opportunities for Halloween photos and costume contests with five separate categories and awesome prizes.
