St. Joseph Parish holds Fall Festival
The public is invited to celebrate fall with loads of family-friendly activities at St. Joseph Parish.
The church, located at 11311 Johnson Drive, is holding its annual Fall Festival on Friday, Sept. 16.
A picnic dinner with fried chicken and side dishes will be served from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in McDevitt Hall, which is located in the church basement.
The dinner cost $8 for adults and $4 for children.
The event also includes games, raffles, auctions, and family entertainment.
Eight “Rat-Tucky-Derby” mouse races are also scheduled from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the church parking lot.
Each race cost $2 and you must be 21 to enter.
A limited number of racing rodents are looking for sponsors.
For $60, your name, and the name of your company, will be included in the racing program and if your rat wins, you will have the honor of joining him or her in the winner’s circle.
