- Letter: Helping small businesses
- March 3, 2010
- What have we come to? We are going to use tax money to build a new clubhouse for the Tomahawk Hills golf course and displace the early-childhood development program.
- Letter: It’s still my tax money
- March 3, 2010
- I’ve been paying attention to the Shawnee Council races and notice that some of the candidates are saying they won’t raise taxes and are going to reduce spending.
- Letter: States’ rights
- February 24, 2010
- To the editor: I think that John Beal missed the point of the Kansas State Senate vote for states’ rights.

Point of View
Do you do anything to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day?
“We are all Irish on St. Patrick’s Day. My family won the best in family floats in Shawnee’s St. Patrick’s Day parade a few years back. We got to have a big trophy for the year. My sons love throwing out candy on the parade route.”
