Shawnee — Services for Kathryn Ann Nauman, 58, Shawnee, will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8, at Rock Port First Christian Church, 501 S. Market, Rock Port, Mo. Burial will be in Linden Cemetery.
Mrs. Nauman died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, at Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, Mo.
She was born June 25, 1951, in Atlantic, Iowa, the daughter of Gise (Bill) and Dorothy Ann (Nielsen) Struthers. She was a 1969 graduate of Rock Port High School.
On June 7, 1969, she married Billy W. Nauman. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include two daughters, Amy Beth Bussell, and her husband, Anthony, Shawnee, and Hilary Erin Roberts, and her husband, Kelly, Spring Hill; a sister, Calla Gutierrez, and her husband, Andres, Rock Port, Mo.; a brother, Mark Struthers, and wife, Lauren, St. Joseph, Mo.; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, at Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. The family suggests memorials to Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall, Kansas City, MO 64145.

Do you think the state should do more to help businesses near K-7 and Johnson Drive as an interchange is constructed?

Given the time the state has had to prepare, I don’t think completing the access road before starting/ closing Johnson Drive is an unreasonable request from these businesses or those of us who patronize them.
