Florence Marie Cottrell Shawnee

Mass of Christian Burial for Florence Marie Cottrell, 96, Shawnee, was Saturday, Jan. 16, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Shawnee. Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa.
Mrs. Cottrell died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Chris (Juli), Cottrell, Lawrence; and two grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 11311 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66203.
Amos Family Chapel, Shawnee, handled arrangements.

Do you think the state should do more to help businesses near K-7 and Johnson Drive as an interchange is constructed?

Given the time the state has had to prepare, I don’t think completing the access road before starting/ closing Johnson Drive is an unreasonable request from these businesses or those of us who patronize them.
