Services for Teresa Lynn Bond, 57, Newark, were Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home. She was cremated.
Ms. Bond, a former quality control worker for Constar, died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at her home.
She was born March 1, 1952, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Richard Gene and Catherine Ann (Wroten) Bond.
Survivors include a daughter, Catherine (Zackary) Stockdale, Charleston, S.C.; a son, Joseph Michael Bond, Newark; her life partner, Arthur “Artie” E. Snyder II, Newark; her mother, Catherine Bond, Newark; a brother, Michael Bond, Newark; four sisters: Elain Summers, Memphis, Judy (Jeff) Holton, Shawnee, Kan., and Stephanie Eppley and Laura Clark, both of Newark; three grandchildren; and her precious pup, Sadie Lady.

Do you think it is important for Shawnee to be bicycle-friendly?
I think it’s important. I do love and use the paths, but it would be nice to have lanes so we could use bikes to run errands - saving gas!
