Services for Gloria Lucille Collier, 82, of Shawnee, were Friday, Oct. 17, at First Southern Baptist Church of Overland Park. Burial was in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Collier died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008.
She was born Feb. 6, 1926, in Chula, Ga., the daughter of Nicholas and Tommy Ruth Womack.
She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Overland Park, where she served for many years on the hospitality committee. She also was a past president of the Shawnee Historical Society.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Clinton P. Collier Jr.; three children, Charlene Richardson, Kathy Wade and Clinton P. “Chip” Collier III; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Catherine Livingston and Martha Partin.
