Memorial services for Karen Sue Peters Adair, 53, of Spring Hill, will be at 4 p.m. Fri., Dec. 30, at Bruce Funeral Home, 712 S. Webster, Spring Hill.
Mrs. Adair died Dec. 22, 2011, at Olathe Medical Center.
She was born March 30, 1958, in Kansas City, Kan., to Robert Gene and Shirley J. (Chance) Reaka. She grew up in Kansas City, Kan., where she graduated from Washington High School. She also lived in Edwardsville and moved to Spring Hill in 2008.
She was first married to John Peters. She worked for Deluxe Printing as a web press operator for 25 years. She married Bryan N. Adair on Oct. 16, 2009, in Cottonwood Falls. Mrs. Adair enjoyed photography, arts and crafts, gardening and camping. Traveling was her passion.
She was preceded in death by her father and her sister, Theresa.
She is survived by her husband, Bryan, of the home; children John Kansas Peters, Kansas City, Kan., Derrick J. Peters, Shawnee, Jared C. Peters, Edwardsville, and Chelsee Rae Peters, Edwardsville; step-children Cory Adair, Olathe, and Katie Pagano, Gardner; mother, Shirley Reaka, Coffeyville; siblings Mike Reaka, Kansas City, Kan.; and Lynn Morris, Coffeyville; and five grandchildren.
