The Tour de Shawnee and Bike Rodeo are this weekend. When was the last time you rode a bike?
“I think it was like when I was 13. It’s been a long time.”
“I think I was 15. I don’t even have a bike anymore.”
“A year ago a guy at work built a bike that when you turned it in one direction, it went the other. He was just trying to find anyone who could ride it. I have a 10-speed, but I haven’t ridden it in a long time.”

Do you think Veterans Day should be a prominent holiday?
Absolutely. We wouldn’t be able to sit here and eat lunch like this if it weren’t for the veterans. We’ve got millions of people that fought and died to save this country; it should be more than a bank holiday.
