Whom do you think John McCain should choose as his running mate?
“Sometimes he has a perception of being ambivalent, and he could pick a woman who has a strong record - there are some good choices out there. He’s probably going to have to make some choices about what voters he wants; if he chooses someone like Mitt Romney, he could get more conservative voters.”
“I would say (former Arkansas Gov. Mike) Huckabee for McCain, for sure. McCain’s more of a moderate; Huckabee would bring the conservative base to him.”
“I think Huckabee - or I’ve heard (Connecticut Sen. Joe) Lieberman, and I’m not necessarily opposed to that, either.”

Do you know who you’re voting for in November?
“Chuck Baldwin; he’s the Constitutional Party candidate. It’s the only conservative choice on there, as far as I can tell.”

Mike Huckabee is the ONLY logical choice, in my opinion. Romney is certainly NOT liked by the conservatives, so I very strongly disagree with the poster above! He is seen as non consistent, no core beliefs, changing his stands with the wind! He has not connected with the people and is the typical Washington elitist type politician. Huckabee is a very consistent conservative who has lived by his positions. He was the only GOP who connected with the people, most especially the blue collar/middle class. He and Senator McCain both have a history of working across party lines to get things accomplished. Huckabee wrote in his book about vertical politics and the McCain/Huckabee ticket would be very effective at putting that into place.( Plus, he is the absolute best speaker/debater out there! I heard him speak at the NC convention and it was one of the most inspiring and motivating speeches I have ever heard!) It just makes sense! It will shock the socks off the pundits worse than Super Tuesday!!!! So much excitement this could bring to our ticket. And some badly needed media…..

I like the post, I agree about Huckabee being the best choice. I would not vote for a McCain Romney ticket, I might a McCain / Huckabee ticket. Here is a link that has all of the Romney attack ad videos, that Romney released against McCain during the primary, along with a video of romney calling McCain dishonest. How could McCain even consider picking Romney. I think the McCain camp is trying to sabotage McCain. The link to the videos is http://www.hotpres.com
