What does the return of warm weather mean for your daily routine?
We spend more time working in the yard, grilling out, visiting with the neighbors or taking in a T-Bones ball game.
Warm weather means breakfasts on our deck, visits to parks with our 2-year-old grandsons, planting flower bowls to add beauty spots to our yard, shopping expeditions to Farmers’ Markets.
Warm weather means a lot more time outdoors — working on the lawn, attending grandchildren’s baseball and softball games, walking, biking and relaxing on the deck.

Do you think it is important for Shawnee to be bicycle-friendly?
I think it’s important. I do love and use the paths, but it would be nice to have lanes so we could use bikes to run errands - saving gas!
