Do you feel safer under the new state law allowing concealed weapons like handguns and knives in government buildings?
July 10, 2013

Ray Erlichman ( in Shawnee) says...
“No-carry signs do nothing but create potential killing zones. Bad guys look for those signs. If public buildings want to post those signs, then provide security for everyone, as the new law requires.”

Norge W. Jerome ( in Shawnee) says...
“Absolutely not! Like many recent moves by the administration, Kansas is moving backwards swiftly.”

Ben Nicks ( in Shawnee) says...
“Politicians are much, much more dangerous in voting polls than in government buildings. I’d rather carry my weapon for protection there.”

Yes I do. It would be nice to have a list of which state offices exempted themselves.
I need to do some research on how this exemption works.
Who approves these exemption plans?
What is included in the exemption plans?
Editor?
