An Advent celebration was held at St. Joseph Church, starting with a re-enactment of "Las Posadas," Spanish for "The Inn." Parishioners joined Mary (Sarah Gamm) on her donkey and Joseph (Richard Sulzen) as they processed through the St. Joseph School and Parish grounds searching for a room at the inn. After being turned away they found a place to stay at the church, where a prayer service was held. A tree-lighting ceremony was held on the rectory front yard, followed by refreshments in the parish hall.
