Since Barb's Kolache Bakery, 22354 W. 66th St., opened last week, its employees have spent a lot of time explaining just what a kolache is. Some of the precision parts that C&R Manufacturing Inc. of Shawnee make is by drilling and machining holes and other features in solid aluminum pieces that are eventually used for medical equipment testing. Company president Ron Wosel (right) recently double the workspace to accommodate for more equipment.
