Erin Lackey (above) is a family friend of Rachel Scott, the first student killed at Columbine High School in 1999. Lackey was the main speaker Monday for "Rachel's Challenge" at Mill Valley High School.
J.R. and Cat Ritz added leather couches and put cushions in bay windows of Cat's Corner Cafe, 11200 Johnson Dr., to entice diners to hang around.
Artist Charles Goslin blends in color on an oxen's leg last week as a final touch on the mural at Pioneer Crossing Park. After a delayed start, the park and mural were both completed last spring and will be dedicated Thursday.
