Maranatha Academy senior Zach Zarda races down the home stretch of the 1,600-meter run on Saturday at the Kansas Relays. Zarda won his heat and turned in the fastest time in the state this year up to that point.

Do you think it is important for Shawnee to be bicycle-friendly?
I think it’s important. I do love and use the paths, but it would be nice to have lanes so we could use bikes to run errands - saving gas!
