When Dalton Peavler has to stay at KU hospital for his cystic fibrosis, he gets the support from his family that spends almost as much time there. The 16-year old Mill Valley sophomore and ardent Yankees fan has taken his medical condition in strides since battling the disease since infancy.

Do you think it is important for Shawnee to be bicycle-friendly?
I think it’s important. I do love and use the paths, but it would be nice to have lanes so we could use bikes to run errands - saving gas!
