Volunteer Greg Wurt hammers in new studs to replace the rotted wood on the back of a home undergoing repairs in October 2008 as part of a project by Rebuilding Together Shawnee. The agency is having trouble locating enough applicants needing repairs on their homes this spring.

Do you think it is important for Shawnee to be bicycle-friendly?
I think it’s important. I do love and use the paths, but it would be nice to have lanes so we could use bikes to run errands - saving gas!
